In Florida (I presume this test is for Florida), for the first 3 months the person holds a learner’s permit, they must drive during daylight hours only. Daylight hours are not statutorily defined. After that period they may drive until 10 PM.

In Massachusetts it's 12:30a.m to 5:00a.m. , so it technically gives you an extra hour and a half to drive......and it's a learner's permit, nothing special about it...
