Thats totally wrong. You should never move into uncoming traffic. That's just asking for a collision.

^ Also, out in the country, you can actually pass cars this way, It's just not generally done in suburban or city areas. Only very rural farmlands. This is from someone who has driven from GA to OR. :P

You don't pass the slow moving vehicle when an oncoming vehicle is approaching. You wait for no one to be coming in that lane, then you use that lane to pass, you bunch of geniuses.

The question didn't state that a car was approaching in that lane. All it asked was which lane would you use you morons which happens to be the oncoming traffic lane.

does not have the complete answer.. you should use the lane for the oncoming traffic, but only at designated spots.. look for broken yellow lines to decide where to pass
