Vermont Driver Handbook Guide
The official Vermont driver's handbook covers a lot of ground — not all of it tested. This page maps its actual chapter structure, straight from the handbook's own table of contents, so you know what's in there before deciding whether to read the whole thing or lean on our cheat sheet instead. What's actually tested
Vermont's knowledge test draws most heavily from Chapter 4/5 (the Learner's Permit and Junior Driver's License structure, including the unusually detailed recall system), Chapter 7 (speed limits, the Move Over Law, the all-device electronic distraction ban, and impaired driving), and Chapter 8 (the point system) -- this site's cheat sheet and question bank focus on exactly that material.
This manual is notably light on numeric DUI conviction penalties -- unlike several other states' manuals, it doesn't print a tiered fine/jail schedule by offense number, focusing instead on the administrative-suspension and implied-consent mechanics. It also doesn't print statewide minimum liability insurance dollar figures.
